First training after so long.

We came back to training from the exam break today. The turn-up rate was low as expected but it didn't hinder us from having a good and fun training. Surprisingly it wasn't as tired as I thought it would be after such a long break from training. Some of the members who are going to take part in Taekwondo Open Champhionship (TOC) has already been segregated into their own jangs and start drilling for the their Poomsaes, while some who are not partake in the competition just wandering around feeling not belonged..that's why you join TOC! haha just kidding. Anyway, it is good to be back, to catch up with friends, to sweat it out during trainings and to "de-rust" our skills.

Taekwondo plays a big part in my life in University. This is where I can relax myself, vent out my stress and get to know peoples from other faculties that has the same interest. The peoples here are generally kind and friendly, myself included. They are easy to talk to and fun to be around with. Despite of the commitments and strenuous activities, I like my time spent in here and somewhat look forward to it.

I am going to compete in TOC Kyorugi competition next year. It will be my first time competing and what's more? I'm representing the school! Would you be less impressed if I told the competition is actually organise by our very own school? haha. But seriously, it is a inter-varsities and institutional competition. Universities, Junior Colleges, Polytechnics would all be invite to join this competition. I have plans to train up and goal to achieve, Ultimately, I will just do my best and have a good fight. What’s important is the process not the outcome. "友谊第一,比赛第二"

As you all can see at the top of the blog, there is a picture of me in the sparring arena, but here's another one:
