Birdssss

I just got back hall now, went to have supper with fellow taekwondo mates. Training today was rather fun, it was a bit different from the usual. We did scenario practice, which means that we were simulating a situation where we were corned at the verge of falling out of the mats and we were taught how should we respond to this kind of situation. I find it pragmatic to the real sparring, and realised I have a lot to learn and improve on. As more I practise taekwondo, the more I fond of this sport and more confident I felt with this sport.

Back track to this Wednesday, it was a leg exhausting day. Ran in the morning, went to Jurong Bird Park afterwards, and top it off with a demo training at night. I rested the entire next day at home.

The truth was my friend, Long Dao, and I went to Jurong Bird Park on a whim. We were deciding on what to do for the rest of the day after we came back from running. And Long Dao was like oh man I didn't go to a lot of place in Singapore before, like Jurong Bird Park, River Safari, Night Safari e.t.c. Then I was like let go check out the tickets for Jurong Bird Park online. So that was how we ended up going to Jurong Bird Park. There wasn't any crowds at the bird park, so we just enjoyed the exhilarating peace and serenity at the park. Moreover, the trip down to the bird park enriched my knowledge about birds. Now I've come to know several more breeds of birds, like Pelican, Kingfishers, Toucans, Hornbills,
Flamingos,  Fowls, Quails, Pheasants, Storks, Ibis, Finches, Starlings, magpie. The one I remembered the most was "Nutcracker" , cause I thought it was pretty badass, and also not forgetting Toco Toucan for it being the most magnificent of all to me.

We were lucky enough to chanced upon some communicative parrots, whose vocabulary was limited down to three words " Hello , Here, Help " (For real) .As I think of it now, I realised that was actually a legit sentence! Gosh, not sure were the parrot really meant what they said, but I think they have better chance being cooped up in the cage and get domesticated, than being out there in the wilderness by themselves.

So I'm just gonna post some photos here:
This dumbfounded snowy owl is dumbfounded.

Crowned something bird, I don't even remember.

White Cockatoo

Flamingos!

  Swag.

There's a waterfall behind us.

Goodnight.
