Good Day

Today was a fulfilling day, I helped out a friend with his job competency assessment and then met up with another group of friends to catch up.

So a friend of mine ask for my help that if I can make a trip down his work place and be his client for an investment product. Because his boss was going to sit in the meeting and access him on that if he was competent enough to sell a product to a potential client and evaluate his performance throughout the meeting. So in the end things went quite well, he was able to give comprehensive information about the products and handpick a product that suits the client's needs best. It also give me a glimpse of how working in banking sector is like and I've grasp a tinge of the idea about product selling. It requires a lot of trainings as well as practical experience with different scenarios. One thing to take away is that interpersonal skill is imperative to the job. It helps you in building a better relationship with clients, earning their trust and it will make your job easier by a big difference. 

After I've done the favor for the friend (Sky) I went on to meet with my two army friends at Bugis. It has been a long time since we last met. After army we all went on to different phase and paths in life. Due to difference in commitment and time available, we rarely had any chance to meet up with each other. So holiday is a good time to meet. We had a good time catching up and sharing our latest life updates.
