TOC is over. New Phase. New Target.

TOC was a success. It took place on last weekend in NTU SRC, again without fail our NTUTKD had yet won another Overall TOC Championship by a large margin. We had won 13 Golds for Poomsae, 5 Golds for Kyorugi, it was indeed a remarkable result. I would like to congratulate all the participants for their contributions and achievements. Well done guys.

I didn't contribute to any part of this success for achieving such a remarkable result, because I had withdrew from the competition due to my injury. It was so unfortunate and I felt a sense of loss when I see our participant giving all their best in the competition, yet I sat among the audience's seats and watch. It felt like I am not part of these. Well, they said there will be always next time, but I doubt I will compete next year too, I can't say for sure. Regardless the fact that whether I had missed the opportunity to compete in Kyorugi or not, let bygones be bygones, there are more to life than just this competition.

Recently, I start to gym again, I had stop gyming for quite a while due to the fact that I needed to maintain my weight to fight certain weight category. Since I couldn't compete for the time being, I would rather do some other stuffs to enrich myself, and have a new target to work towards to. And on a positive note, I can eat whatever I want now. I am now in a progress of bulking, I wanna become bigger after all these years hearing people call me skinny, I think it's time for me to make a change. I was motivated by a video on YouTube,(Click here for the video)  there is this guys who is a bodybuilder, and needless to say his built, it is like dayyuum boy you look hella good. He talked about how he had became how he is today. It took him 10 years to be in the shape he's in now. He showed us his journey to bodybuilding, when he just starting up, he was even skinnier than I am, and he didn't even think that one day he would be a bodybuilder. So step by step, he started to hit the gym and he liked it and he decided to make a change, he set goals and worked towards them. It was really inspiring when seeing how much changed he had over the years. It is all about progress and consistency, he committed and persisted. That is how he succeed.

So over a few weeks I did gain a few kgs, it's about 1.5kg, don't laugh it is still a progress. But I felt it is not going the right direction, as I bulked and my belly catching a few pounds too. I need to watch the way I bulk, it's not just about eating more but also needs to work out even more to get rid of that ever-catching-up belly fat.

Peace.
