LeeTong & KaiXin's Wedding.

Here is a dedicated post for LeeTong and Kaixin's wedding on last Sunday.

I've came to know LeeTong in Singapore Poly, we were classmates. We were very close during poly, in fact the whole of my poly classmates were very close to each other, maybe that was due to we were small in number, so we got to know everyone very quickly and we clicked very well. Our class was very bonded, there were numerous memorable events throughout the 3 years of poly. We were funny and crazy, for instance, we would went to east coast at midnight and played water gun fight. Shiok. Yeah those were the good old times. Okay, not to digress, let's talk about LeeTong and KaiXin.

LeeTong is a very nice and kind person, and also very matured. Perhaps, it's because he is old than us as he's came from ITE. He's sensitive and thoughtful to people as well, and also he is a very humble man. I've known KaiXin through LeeTong of course, she is also kind and nice, and able to accept us guys whose behaviors were childish during poly times. Not to mention that she studied early childhood education, so you would expect all the qualities of an amiable teacher from her. So when it comes relationship, two of them are the ultimate relationship role model for us, they are the legit #RelationshipGoals. They got to know each other and got together in secondary school, so it has been 10 years since they were together. TEN FREAKING YEARS, can you believe it? It is indeed no mean feat. I respect the fact that they had pulled through the test and trails of the time, come together to tie the knot and moving on to a next phase of relationship. This relationship wouldn't had been made possible without a consistent and persistent effort from the both of them, to nurture, to foster and to grow together. They made it. So a big congratulation to both of them, hope that they will find much joy and excitement as there are whole lot of new life events ahead are waiting for them. I am already excited for you all already haha.

I was asked to be LeeTong's brother and Emcee on his wedding. I was astounded at first and happy at the same time that he had trusted me to be his brother and moreover to be his wedding emcee. This is something new to me which I have never done before, for the both of it. However, I happily accepted his request as I thought there is first time to everything, I wouldn't mind to give it a try. I will give my best and not letting him down.

On the night before wedding day, the brothers and sisters were invited to the bride's house for buffet and also did some preparation for the next day. Furthermore, we had a bit of run through for the Emcee's speech and along side with some "intel" collection of what games sister has prepared for the brothers. Hehe. My emcee script was in Chinese which I have more confident in. I didn't know that reading Chinese off the script would be so hard for me. Maybe it was because I hadn't read Chinese characters for a long time and the words, phrases used in the script were that I don't normal speak of. So the 1st run through was quite bad, I felt nervous, laughed at my mistake, and laughed when I felt nervous( you know it's just a thing I do when I get nervous, laugh and get face cramps ._.) . After that, I tried to calm myself down and collect my thoughts. Then，I went for another round of practise, second time, it was better but not good enough. At the end of emcee's speech I have wrongly spoke that " 婚姻已经来到了尾声" instead of "婚宴已经来到了尾声” OMG the bride almost choked me to death, major mistake, not funny though it is quite funny hahaha.

We left bride's house at 9pm. After that, Kok leong and I went to CaoYuan house to stay over as next morning we will leave for Leetong's house together. Before we went to CY's house, we went to my hall to get my stuffs for tomorrow, and along the way we went to the Giant near my hall to get some sweets and ice-cream. So, when we got to CY's house it was already 12am. Then we proceeded on to iron our clothes, then brush-up and went to bed at 1.30am. We didn't really get any sleep as we were chitchatting and catching-up with each other. We got up at 3am to get ready. The gatecrash was at 5am. ( Ikr it was super early. LeeTong said that it's because due to some Feng Sui, the timing is right and auspicious.) So, we went to meet-up with the groom 1st then went to bride's house for gate crashing. The gate crashing was not so difficult, not as difficult as I expected it to be. We played only a few game owning to the fact that we were late XD. First, we crossed some "spider web" made by raffia string. Then, we chowing down the "酸甜苦辣“ namely, melon juice, strawberry, bitter tea and fire noodle. Followed by dancing our "hearts" off, shake the post-it off  on our body. And lastly, a ten "commandments" stipulated by the bride and bridesmaids. The poor groom were to swear by it and promise all the terms and conditions that were none to his favor. haha. In all, It was fun and tiring. Later on that day we moved to M hotel for the wedding banquet. Surprisingly, I didn't felt nervous and spoke the perfect script on stage. I was so proud of myself and glad that didn't cause them any trouble haha.

So, at the end of the day, everybody were like a zombie, we had been operating without sleep for more than 24 hours. And bride was being the most exhausted one, because she had to wear the baggy and heavy wedding dresses, and the pain-staking high heels. Hope, you two rested well.

Okay, lastly, CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN ! And wish you two a blissful marriage, I hope to see your baby soon! haha
