Happy Valentine's Day + Deadpool

Today is again the day of the year, February 14, Happy Valentine's Day people. To all the attached, last long, have a sweet and committed one; to all the singles, wish we all can find our true love soon!

Although I don't have a valentine, I enjoyed myself today. Morning, as usual, I went to church service. (For those of you who don't know, I'm a Christian.) The turn-up rate was not fantastic, I'm the only youth who went, the others are all busy with their own activities I guess. The service today was good, what I've taken away from today's sermen was a phrase "Thank God for today, Trust Him for tomorrow." preached by Pastor Sandy ( The Team White ) I found it very applicable to me. I am grateful for what I have now, I've seen my friends who had much worse situation than me, I'm rather blessed compared to them and I ought to be contented.  In addition, we need to entrust our uncertainties of tomorrow to God, have faith in Him like a child. We, as humans, would never know what's gonna happen tomorrow, so quit worrying, do not fret, just have a child-like faith in Him and he will put everything in place for us, for the best of us. After service, again Aunty Rebecca treated us to have dim sum at a new place! Yummy! Unfortunately I didn't take any photo, if not I would show you all the saliva-drooling, mouth-watering and savoury delicacies!

After dim sum, I went to catch a movie, alone. Not being emotional or what, it's just that I really wanted to watch the movie, and I waited for it for so long! And also because that it was easier to book a seat for one. :P . But one thing about watching a movie on Valentine's Day was that you should expect a super duper long queue. Despite of me have booked the ticket online, but during collection I queued for freaking 15mins, luckily the pre-movie commercial was long enough for me to catch the start of the movie. The movie was "Deadpool", it's a marvel comic series. The main character, deadpool, is a mutant who has the regeneration ability to heal any possible physical wounds to prevent him from dying, basically immortal. I won't spoil the movie for you all here, I will just give a generic review on the movie. Firstly, it was M18, so children should keep out of this movie haha, there were few sexual scenes which are really obscene, duh. And there were also a bit of gore but it was acceptable imo. The movie was hilarious as Deadpool he is humorous, quirky and he really does a lot of talking, thrash-talking. 5 stars for the comedy. The storyline-wise was ok, it was able to deliver the plot rather comphrehensively where audience knows what is going on.

Inevitably, there were couples everywhere and anywhere I go, it makes me feels a little bit weird walking around alone. So, in conclusion, the movie was good and I don't think I will go catch a movie by myself again on Valentine's day.

Have a good week ahead beautiful people.
