Kukup Island over the weekend
Last weekend was the best weekend ever, I had so much fun!
So I spend a weekend at Kukup island, Malaysia with my NTU Traditional Taekwondo Club for a so called " Training Camp" , but to me it was more like a staycation. Haha. The place we stayed was extraordinary great! It has exceeded my expectation by so so much, I couldn't ask for more. It was like a chalet but with amazing facilities. You wouldn't believe what I going to tell you, so be shocked. It has 8 rooms, each room with a toilet and 4 double-decker bed; It has not one but TWO sets of Karaoke equipments and even a KTV room! Beside's it has all the recreational game we could think of, it has Mahjong and table TWO! Pool Table TWO! Table Tennis Table ONE! Poker Game Table ONE! Table football ONE! On my gosh, its too good to be true, but it's true. haha.
Then next up let's talk about FOOD. Then house owner actually cooked for us for all of the three meals and afternoon tea too. We even get to eat chilli crab for lunch! What's even better is that , at night we had BBQ, and the owner did everything for us, from starting fire to serve food onto our table, what a perfect service, I would it give it a 11/10. Big big thumbs up to the owners.
Then we also got to 放孔明灯 at night. It was my first time doing it so I had written so many wishes onto it and hope that all of it will come true...one day!
Besides all the fun, we did had training too. We had a few sessions of training, namely Self-defence, Plank Breaking, Poomsae, Sparring Training. All of these training was carried out by the respective senior black belts, and we indeed had learnt a lot from them, thus a big thank you to them too!
So the two days was definitely not enough. Through this camp, the members has gotten closer with each other and we got to talk more and talked to people whom we don't get a chance to talk to during the normal training. As the whole purpose of having a training camp is to forging bonds with each other and to cultivate a family-like culture within the club, so it was indeed a success! Good job committees and thank you everyone for making this training camp so AWESOME! Surely it was a memorable trip, for everyone.
